Commanders, the war for Tiberium is here. Electronic Arts Inc. officially launched Command & Conquer Rivals, an accelerated real-time strategy (RTS) strategy game for Android and iOS devices worldwide. see below the trailer of the game:
Built from the ground up specifically for mobile devices, Command & Conquer: Rivals offers innovative player-to-player (PVP) gameplay with intuitive controls that allow players to focus their efforts on strategy and skill as they face each other in intense 1 × 1 battles.
“In recent months, we’ve made the world talk more about Command & Conquer and this was very exciting to see. We’ve played Rivals every day with our community, working with them to make it as fun and balanced as possible. Our goal was to bring something new to the mobile players who play RTS, giving them full control of all their moves, to bring their true competitive ability, “said Michael Martinez, general manager of Redwood Studios.
In Command & Conquer: Rivals, players must take their faction to victory by choosing between the High Tech Global Defense Initiative or the fastest-paced Nod Brotherhood factions. It’s the supreme Colonel Jackson vs. fan favorite, Kane.
True to the iconic RTS series, tactical planning and execution are keys to winning. The moves are fast and frantic, and each game requires a unique approach, where players must create their best combination of infantry, tanks, aircraft, and monsters to defend and maneuver an opponent.
The competition is at the heart of this game with Rivals Champions, an exclusive weekend game event available at launch. In Rivals Champions, players of all skill levels can compete in a single pool of matchmaking with different ranked levels, and the better a player performs, the greater the rewards.
Next year, EA’s list of competing games will be expanded with Command & Conquer: Rivals. Rivals Champions, inspired by the immensely popular FIFA Ultimate Team Champions at FIFA, is an exclusive competitive experience in which the development team will work with the community to launch a multi-continent esports program in 2019.
